This project is based on 4 pillars:

  1. Support the development and evaluation of the implementation of National Action Plans against AMR under the “One Health” approach.
  2. Strengthen the surveillance and control of AMR and the use of human and veterinary antimicrobials in accordance with international standards.
  3. Encourage the private sector to participate in controlling AMR, through the consolidation of public – private partnerships and technical assistance on the responsible and prudent use of antimicrobials.
  4. Strengthen research and innovation on AMR and alternatives to antibiotics.
