The network of Collaborating Centers and Reference Laboratories constitutes the core of the scientific expertise and excellence of the WOAH. The permanent contribution of these institutions to the work of the WOAH guarantees the scientific relevance of the standards, guidelines and recommendations developed by the Specialized Commissions and published by the organization.
Two or more reference centers can constitute a network of reference centers of the WOAH, following the guidelines for the management of these networks.
