We are greatly saddened to learn of the recent passing of Dr Joan Arnoldi. Dr Arnoldi was APHIS’ first female Deputy Administrator and Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) of the United States, paving the way for and inspiring women across APHIS and the veterinary field.
Dr Arnoldi, was also one of the main promoters of setting up the Regional Representation of the Americas in Argentina and accompanied us at the inauguration of our offices.
