Webinar: The importance of public-private partnerships in the Americas

We would like to invite you to the virtual event “We are all part of the solution to fight AMR: the importance of public-private partnerships in the Americas that will take place on 5th October at 11.00 am (Buenos Aires). This event is an initiative of the Project Working Together to Fight Antimicrobial Resistance.

Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) are highly effective tools in enhancing countries capacities to fight Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). Public-private partnership is a joint approach in which the public and private sectors agree responsibilities and share resources and risks to achieve common objectives that deliver benefits in a sustainable manner.

During this meeting that we are organizing jointly with the WOAH Collaborating Centre: Centro para la Gestión de Antimicrobianos en Acuicultura (CASA) from Chile, participants will share their experiences and we will also discuss the specific needs of the region for the promotion of successful APP in the fight against ARM in the aquatic sector.
