The next seminar of the Committee of the Americas on Veterinary Medicines (CAMEVET) will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from 14 to 16 October 2026.
The meeting will bring together regulatory authorities, representatives from the private sector and technical experts from countries across the Americas to exchange experiences and make progress towards harmonising the processes relating to the registration and control of veterinary medicines.
The seminar will address topics of regional interest, including new CAMEVET guidelines and working documents, implementation experiences, emerging regulatory challenges, the monitoring of substandard and counterfeit veterinary products, and the responsible use of antimicrobials within the One Health framework, amongst others.
The CAMEVET Seminar provides a regional forum for exchange among regulatory authorities, representatives of the veterinary medicinal products industry, and technical experts.
Participation will provide an opportunity to learn about experiences from countries across the region, exchange perspectives on key regulatory challenges, and contribute to the advancement of regional regulatory harmonization initiatives.
The Seminar is intended for representatives of competent authorities from countries across the Americas, professionals working in the veterinary medicinal products sector, industry representatives, technical experts, and other stakeholders involved in the registration, control, and surveillance of veterinary products.
