During the XXVIII CAMEVET seminar, officials from 18 countries corresponding to Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, United States, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Uruguay and a large number of representatives of the veterinary industry of the region met in Uruguay for four days to advance in the harmonization of the requirements for the registration and control of veterinary products.
